DESCRIPTION:Pedals & Pints: The Long Haul\nSaturday\, August 1\, 2026\nCheck-in: 8:30 AM  |  Rollout: 9:00 AM sharp\nDunbar Historical Society / Sheepskin Trailhead \nJoin the Fayette Trails Coalition and National Road Heritage Corridor for\nPedals & Pints: The Long Haul—a 34-mile\, no-drop group ride\nfrom Dunbar to Ohiopyle and back. \nThe ride follows the Sheepskin Trail to its connection with the Great Allegheny\nPassage\, continuing into Ohiopyle before returning to Dunbar. Riders will have\nan opportunity to stop at Twisted Spoke Café in Ohiopyle for food\,\ndrinks\, and a well-earned break before the return trip. \n\nRide Details\n\nDistance: Approximately 34 miles round trip\nRoute: Dunbar to Ohiopyle and back\nSurface: Primarily crushed limestone trail\nRide style: No-drop group ride\nEstimated return: Around 5:00 PM\nMeet-up location: Dunbar Historical Society / Sheepskin Trailhead\n\n\nWhat to Bring\nPlease come prepared with a properly maintained bicycle\, water\, snacks\,\nweather-appropriate clothing\, and any personal repair supplies you may need.\nHelmets are strongly encouraged. \n\nRide Safely\nParticipants ride at their own risk and are responsible for following trail\nrules\, traffic laws\, and instructions from ride leaders. DESCRIPTION:Sheepskin Shepherds Point Marion Clean Up & Ride\nJoin the Sheepskin Shepherds for a morning of trail stewardship\,\nfollowed by a group ride to Morgantown for lunch! \nWe’ll meet at the Point Marion Park Trailhead at 10:00 AM on Sunday\,\nSeptember 27. \nCleanup\nWe’ll start the morning with approximately 30 minutes to one hour of\nlitter patrol around the Point Marion trailhead and nearby sections of\nthe Sheepskin Trail. \nRide to Morgantown\nAfter the cleanup\, we’ll hop on our bikes and ride south toward\nMorgantown. The group will stop for lunch at a restaurant along\nthe trail before riding back to Point Marion. \nIt’s a chance to help take care of the Sheepskin Trail\, spend some time with\nfellow trail users\, and enjoy a ride and lunch together afterward. \nEvent Details\n\nDate: Sunday\, September 27\, 2026\nMeet Time: 10:00 AM\nMeeting Location: Point Marion Park Trailhead\nCleanup: Approximately 30–60 minutes of litter patrol\nRide: Point Marion to Morgantown and back\nLunch: Restaurant stop along the trail in Morgantown\n\nCome lend a hand\, get some miles in\, and spend the day with the\nSheepskin Shepherds!
