Dunbar Historical Society / Sheepskin Trailhead
Join the Fayette Trails Coalition and National Road Heritage Corridor for
Pedals & Pints: The Long Haul—a 34-mile, no-drop group ride
from Dunbar to Ohiopyle and back.
The ride follows the Sheepskin Trail to its connection with the Great Allegheny
Passage, continuing into Ohiopyle before returning to Dunbar. Riders will have
an opportunity to stop at Twisted Spoke Café in Ohiopyle for food,
drinks, and a well-earned break before the return trip.

- Distance: Approximately 34 miles round trip
- Route: Dunbar to Ohiopyle and back
- Surface: Primarily crushed limestone trail
- Ride style: No-drop group ride
- Estimated return: Around 5:00 PM
- Meet-up location: Dunbar Historical Society / Sheepskin Trailhead
What to Bring
Please come prepared with a properly maintained bicycle, water, snacks,
weather-appropriate clothing, and any personal repair supplies you may need.
Helmets are strongly encouraged.
Ride Safely
Participants ride at their own risk and are responsible for following trail
rules, traffic laws, and instructions from ride leaders. Please register in
advance so we can plan accordingly.
